A Note to Self

Note To Self: “I’m so sorry for all of your suffering. You spent many years longing for validation from others, love from others. And when you assumed they didn’t you felt bad, unloved, not worthy. You have felt misunderstood and sad and have felt like you needed to prove, defend or fight for your value. You spent years thinking people didn’t like you. And when there was evidence of this you focused on this and this continued to keep your belief alive, that people don’t like you that you are not worthy. I’m here to tell you _____________ (insert your name) that I love you so much! I love your willingness to grow, your fight for wholeness, your integrity, your tenacity for life. Everyone makes mistakes. There were times your insecurities and ego got in the way when you felt not valued. I forgive you! I value you! I RECOGNIZE your value. You are a beautiful spiritual being, a beautiful human being and I really like who you are right now. You are not the same person as the past image of yourself. I love this person right now. I release all pains from the past. I see YOU with fresh eyes. You can TRUST that my love for you is much more POWERFUL than any reaction or judgment from another person. You don’t have to prove that you are valuable. You don’t need to fight for others or for the world to “see” you. You don’t need to get it from anyone else. I “see” YOU. I love YOU. I like YOU! YOU are beautiful. Can you trust me?” ♥♥♥ Laurie Martin
